The major period of coral mass spawning on Western Australian reefs mainly occurs after the full moon in March or April.

  • March to June: Whalesharks
Ningaloo Reef is one of only two areas in the world where Whalesharks regularly congregate. These mysterious creatures grow up to 18 metres long and are one of the largest and most gentle creatures in the world.
