Why clean up only once a year?

No more fumbling for your lift pass as you wait to get on the lifts at Thredbo. They’ve introduced hands-free technology that allows you to leave the lift pass in your jacket pocket. Newly installed Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) access gates will identify your pass automatically.

Should speed up the queues somewhat this season we think!

Lift passes also take on a whole new look, as paper tickets have been replaced by reusable credit card media – once you have your lift pass you can jump online to the new Thredbo eStore and buy extra days or even add on lessons.

Also new to Thredbo this year, a $500,000 snow groomer has been added to the Thredbo fleet. The new Kassbohrer 400 winch cat, is packed full of features to ensure the best possible riding conditions for Thredbo’s guests.

So combining an expansive snowmaking system with the latest in grooming magic, skiers and boarders can expect more of the smooth tracks of corduroy that Thredbo is famous for.
