The most exciting way to see Cape Tribulation, Jungle Surfing is a unique eco-adventure where your feet don't touch the ground. Fly through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at five tree platforms with spectacular bird's eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the reef.

Fun, educational, all weather & fully guided, the award-winning Jungle Surfing is an adventure activity for all ages.

Jungle Surfing's team of abseiling guides use a unique system to belay visitors along the ziplines, making it the only flying fox in the world where the guides control the course. Visitors of any physical ability can fly hands-free and carefree, without any previous experience necessary.

The longest span is over 75 metres and the platforms vary in height from 2.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground, offering unparalleled access to all levels of the rainforest canopy. The highest point soars 22 metres above Mason Creek. On each platform the guides provide interpretive commentary about the rainforest to educate and entertain.

With harnesses to suit ages 3 and up, kids and grandparents can even fly together.

Cape Tribulation itself is a beautiful 2 ½ hour drive from Cairns, hugging the coastline and winding through some of Queensland's most stunning scenery. The place where the rainforest meets the reef, Cape Trib opens up by foot, horseback, kayak, or boat, and has a range of unique accommodation available.
