This September school holidays, Australia Zoo is welcoming a mob of meerkats to its ever-expanding African family! They’re interactive and hilarious to watch as they explore their new, exciting home … so come and be part of the meerkat mania at Australia Zoo.
Watch them standing on their hind legs – you’ll wonder who’s checking who out when they’re curiously watching your every move. Try to keep up with what they’re doing – they are busy little animals with an agenda to fill, which is usually rearranging their home and digging as quickly as their little legs can go, creating as much work as possible for their keepers.
Don’t worry, the fun won’t be stopping there! There are stacks wonderful animals and spring holiday activities for the whole family to enjoy – it will be an action-packed two weeks, filled with adventure.
Make your way to the Mount Franklin Crocoseum from 20 – 23 September to see Terri and Robert feeding the crocs in the famous Wildlife Warriors show and learn from the experts, who will teach you all about croc safety. You’ll walk away from this incredible show with an appreciation of Australia’s apex predator.
There are pony rides daily between 11am and 3pm, so saddle up in between meeting the resident wildlife.

As part of the program, you’ll be heading behind the scenes and getting up close with the animals. Age groups from 4 – 15 can participate in the program with custom options also available.
