That’s right, Trop Jr is moving to December 8, 2013. The festival also has a new home, and will be held in Sydney’s beautiful Centennial Park.

Modelled on the world’s largest short film festival, Tropfest, Trop Jr is a short film making competition and a free, outdoor festival for kids aged 15 years and younger.

At it’s heart, Trop Jr is all about encouraging kids to explore their creativity through film. There is a huge community of young kids with an enormous passion for filmmaking.

Trop Jr has received over 250 entries for the December 2013 festival and, from those, 16 films will be screened at the live Trop Jr event. The winning film will take home $5000 cash, as well as a mix of other great prizes!

HOW TO GET THERE

Centennial Parklands is just minutes from the Sydney CBD and easily accessible by public or private transport.

Please note that if you do drive to the event, the park gates close at sunset so please ensure your car is out of the park before the sun goes down.

There will be limited parking at the Entertainment Quarter for a flat rate of $20.

ENTRY LOCATION

Trop Jr will be held at the Brazilian Fields, Loch Ave South, in the heart of Centennial Park.

Pedestrians can enter Centennial Park via the following gates:
• Robertson Rd Gates
• Paddington Gates
• Randwick Gates
• Woollahra Gates
