Explore nature

From kayaking across an azure lagoon to nearby islands and saltwater caves; to trekking through virgin rainforest to the purest Fijian waterfalls, there are plenty of opportunities to satisfy your thirst for the great outdoors.

Vanua Levu is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and beautiful underwater wonders, including soft vibrant corals and brilliantly-coloured fish, making it the perfect destination for snorkelling and diving.

Koro Sun Resort offers a range of excursions to the best reefs in the area, with different options available for different levels of experience. It is home to a PADI certified scuba operation with a fully equipped dive shop and boats, as well as friendly, qualified staff.

Take a day trip

For a more relaxed morning, join a dolphin watching trip to Natewa Bay, the South Pacific’s largest bay and home to two pods of spinner dolphins.

On Saturday mornings, venture into the local town to explore the markets, where you’ll discover fresh fruits and vegetables as well as Fijian souvenirs and handicrafts.

Hop on a mountain bike or beach cruiser, and enjoy a ride down the scenic Hibiscus Road, where you can enjoy a leisurely exploration of the coastline or a more vigorous ride if you prefer. Whether you choose to go for a short trip or a long excursion, the beach and sea is your backdrop!

Get active

If you’re an active guest, Koro Sun Resort offers a comprehensive array of complimentary activities including tennis; stand-up paddle boarding in the resort’s protected lagoon; volleyball; and croquet and bocce on the lawn; and a nine-hole pitch and putt golf course.

Discover the local culture

Meke is a Fijian traditional dance of the indigenous people of Fiji where men, women and children combine dance and repetitive, rhythmic chanting to tell the stories of everyday life, ancient gods and battles.

Lovo is an underground earth oven, where your dinner is cooked on hot coals and heated rocks. The earth acts as an oven trapping the heat while cooking your dinner over a period of many hours. You can watch from the preparation stages until it is “unearthed” and ready for you to enjoy during the weekly Meke and Lovo night.

Every element of your stay at Koro Sun Resort is designed to immerse you in Fiji’s beautiful culture and natural setting and will leave you with a full heart!

Activities with a truly definitive Fijian flavor always loaded with fun and great entertainment
