Feel like an ‘almost trip to the country’ with the kids? It’s no stress to take the delightful drive just out of Sydney to the Sebel Resort and Spa Hawkesbury Valley. Horses and cattle take over from cityscapes and freeways. Road side stalls with local produce tempt you to stop awhile. It only took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive at our destination in Windsor. Not one “Are we there yet”. Guess what guys? We’re here!
So much to do so little time
Indoor pool, warm spa, kids playground, all tempting the younger members of our group. In holidays and on weekends there are fun activities on offer in the kids club. Enough happy distraction to give me a couple of hours in the heavenly Villa Thalgo Day Spa. Relaxed, happy and feeling refreshed I ventured back the clamouring mob. Meanwhile our golfers had their share of fun practicing their swings on the driving range right next door. We really didn’t need to leave the property.
Venture further afield
