Breakfast with Orangutans at Bali Zoo

A first for Indonesia, Bali Zoo has introduced an exciting new program – Breakfast with Orangutans. Guests are picked up from their hotel at 7am, then taken to the zoo for a morning of memorable adventures. What’s not to love about the fresh breeze, early morning fog and the sound of chirpy birds greeting the new day at Bali Zoo?

On arrival, the zookeeper leads the visitors to Gayo Restaurant at Kampung Sumatra and this is where the fun begins. A delicious breakfast of tropical fruits and juice, fresh-baked bread, as well as a main course (choices include fried rice, buttermilk pancakes, cereals and more) fills tummies up, with local Balinese coffee or English Breakfast tea available for Mums and Dads too. While enjoying this morning feast, guests can watch the friendly, red-headed great apes  in their playground.

Breakfast with Orangutans is followed by the Morning Zoo Tour and Animal Show, timed perfectly as the zoo slowly wakes up. Kids will love feeding the elephants and getting their photos snapped with some of the birds before heading home.
