Aulani Disney Resort Model

Disney fans don’t have long to wait until the much-awaited opening of the new Aulani Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii. Drawing on the celebrated storytelling magic of Disney and traditions and heritage of the people of Hawaii, this luxury resort opens to guests on 29 August.
Built on 21 acres of oceanfront property in Ko Olina, adjacent to a nine-acre lagoon and white sand beach, the resort is a short drive from Honolulu International Airport and 30 minutes from Waikiki. It features 359 traditional hotel rooms and 481 two-bedroom Disney Vacation Club villas.

Family-friendly resort amenities include a spa and a fitness centre and Aunty’s Beach House kids’ club. Here children can explore Hawaiian culture through supervised entertainment, including interactive touch tables, wildlife and nature programmes, arts and crafts, Disney movies and traditional Hawaiian games.

Children of all ages will delight in Waikolohe Valley, Aulani’s vast water play area which includes a tube-floating watercourse, the Tubestone Curl tube slide and Volcanic Vertical tunnel slide. Guests can also interact with a variety of native Hawaiian fish, in the huge Rainbow Reef snorkel lagoon.
