Forget dashing through the snow this Christmas and instead celebrate the festive season sailing through the sunny Pacific Islands with P&O Cruises.

The cruise line’s entire four-strong fleet will celebrate yuletide at sea this year, with a Christmas laser show and Christmas concert, coupled with a surprise visit from Santa, ensuring each P&O Cruises’ voyage has all the trimmings.

All Christmas cruises will also feature Christmas carollers, special snow machines in the atrium and a Christmas themed menu fit for a king, including all the traditional family favourites such as baked leg ham with port wine sauce and warm Christmas pudding.

Santa will also be handing out gifts to every child aged between three and 17 years and, in true Australian holiday style, passengers will be able to enjoy beach cricket as they travel through the Pacific.

Each ship will also offer Christmas services and there will be a selection of Christmas movies played in cabins and public areas during the cruises.

Christmas fares include a merry 10-night cruise departing from Sydney onboard Pacific Jewel on December 18 or Pacific Sun on December 19. Both cruises call at four South Pacific ports including Vila, Mystery Island and Noumea, with fares from $999* per person, twin share.

Passengers can also set sail on 10-night Christmas itineraries to the Pacific Islands from Brisbane onboard Pacific Dawn, departing December 17 and Auckland onboard Pacific Pearl departing December 19.
