Once the domain of sophisticated grown-ups and naughty girls who climb into rabbit holes, high tea has been brought down to size at Sydney’s Sir Stamford at Circular Quay, which now offers a special feast for miniatures featuring all the classic trimmings – scones, delicate sandwiches, fairy cakes and things with chocolate in them.
The best part is that it functions as an ideal excuse to have a little adult indulgence at the same time.
When: 1-5pm daily.
Who: Children aged between 5-12 years, accompanied by an adult.
Cost: $32 per child. Adult high tea is $24 for Devonshire, $44 for Traditional, and $58 for the Heavenly option.
