So what is Kids 4 Free all about and who is it for?
The Kids 4 Free deal is the initiative by the winter market group, which comprises of representatives from the Methven business community, Mt Hutt Ski Area, Experience Mid Canterbury Tourism, Christchurch International Airport Limited, and Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism.
The Kids 4 free campaign has been very successful, over the years and it has helped promote Methven and Mt Hutt to families near and far. Children aged 10 years and under can obtain not only free lift passes at Mt Hutt, but free meals and accommodation at selected properties in Methven and surrounding areas. We also offer a free Ski bus up the mountain with this campaign.
The Mt Hutt free lift pass is available to all children 10 years and under regardless of how many adults are with them, other deals vary but mostly comprise of one full paying adult, one child 10 years and under for free.
