To pick up the free tickets families will need to register. Click here to go to Targona's website for your free tickets.

Families also book into other free events at the zoo during the science festival.

The behind the scenes institute tour takes families into Taronga's brand new Institute of Science and Learning where they can view the immersive classrooms. These amazing learning spaces mimic the geography and climate of different habitats: Rainforest, Arid and Woodlands and includes an animal encounter.

Or you can book into the Status Critical conservation challenge, a  collaboration with Sydney University where kids can attempt six hands-on science challenges. Families who take on this challenge will learn about threats to endangered species and the conservation strategies to protect.
