45 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes fast ferry to Sydney CBD, or 30 minute drive.
Being positioned in the heart of one of Sydney’s most beautiful beaches, surrounded by shops, cafes, and attractions makes us family-friendly. And we are close enough to the CBD by ferry to have a day in the city, if you simply must peel yourself off the warm sand and away from the sparkling water.
Kids Club/activities/local attractions
We have attractions and activities such as Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary, bike riding tours, scenic walks, hidden beaches, snorkelling spots, jet boating, scuba diving, and of course the sandy beach and waves all within five minutes walking distance. Kids can enjoy our Kids corner in the lobby, as well as complimentary buffet breakfast if under 16 years old. We are also just a 15 minute fast ferry ride to the Sydney CBD.
What’s in it for MUMs?
Relax and unwind overlooking the sparkling waters of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy a night out with the assurance your kid are safe and being looked after with our external nanny service.
Sleep in and treat yourself to a late check out, and brunch where children under 16 eat free! Soak up the sun on the rooftop pool while the kids enjoy splashing around. Have a coffee or drink in the lobby bar and the kids can play in the Novotel Family corner, where you can still see them. In-room movies keep the whole family entertained and 24 hour room service makes it convenient to stay in for the night, you can even hire a Wii Console and games for the room.
Did you know?
The area between Manly and Shelly Beach, known as Cabbage Tree Bay, has the second highest concentration of marine life in Australia, second only to the Great Barrier Reef. There are fish and seahorses, jellyfish and even the small sharks known as wobbegongs… don’t worry, they don’t bite! There is also an old motorbike standing on the seabed around 8 metres under water in the middle of the bay. You can marvel at all of these underwater creatures and the wreckage, while snorkelling and scuba diving.
