South American eco-adventure operator explora has introduced free stays and special reduced rates for families with children for travel during selected periods of 2015.
Couples can have one child stay complimentary at any of explora’s three luxurious properties and pay just 50 percent for second, third and fourth children. For three nights, children from four years to 12 years old are from $1000 for the first child and from $1400 per child from 13 to 18 years old.
This offer is available at Atacama and Patagonia on Chile mainland and Rapa Nui (Easter Island) from 1 – 20 September and 9 – 18 October and from 1 – 30 July at Atacama and Rapa Nui only.
Adult prices start from $2300 per person twin share for three nights at explora Atacama, from $2600 per person twin share for three nights at explora Rapa Nui and a four night package at explora Patagonia starts from $3300 per person twin share.
This includes daily explorations with specialised bilingual guides in groups no larger than eight people with a choice of more than 30 explorations and activities ranging from a couple of hours to a full day. Activities are rated in easy, moderate and difficult levels and include treks, horseback explorations, bird watching exploration and many more.
The package also includes accommodation with all meals, soft and alcoholic beverages, transfers from the local airport and equipment including all-terrain vehicles and horses, as required for the range of exploration.
