Cruise ships are like floating towns ... they have everything to keep you and the kids happy while afloat. And as if being surrounded by water wasn't enough, they now have their own water features on board, with state-of-the-art water slides. Here we bring you three of the best cruise ship water slides!

The Ultimate Abyss

Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas showcases a new, super-sized interactive waterpark – Splashaway Bay – that boasts a 10-storey slide, for thrill-seeking kids, called The Ultimate Abyss ... the tallest slide at sea!

The ride begins in the Pool and Sports Zone with two side-by-side slides. Hop onto the special slide mat and off you go! Spontaneous audio effects create a thrilling multi-sensory experience as you whoosh and spiral from high above the seas to the centre of the ship!

The AquaDuck

Disney Cruise Line ships, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy promise guests  ‘a quacking good time’ as you hurtle through the water-gushing AquaDuck tube that takes you all over the ship!

More like a roller coaster than your average water slide, AquaDuck is the first of its kind at sea. Whiz through 230m of snaking tubes, and take in breathtaking views of the ocean and ship below as powerful water jets propel you and your two-person raft through uphill climbs, before splashing into a lazy river at the end of the plunge.

WaterWorks

Carnival WaterWorks is the cruise line’s onboard waterpark that includes the fabulous Twister Waterslide – almost 100 m of spiralling awesomeness that starts you off high in the air and gets you down low with one of the fastest, wettest rides you'll find anywhere at sea!
