Wildlife Sydney’s latest animal on exhibition may be small – but it’s a huge concept for little minds
In an Australian-first the zoo plans to showcase the bacteria that lives inside our stomachs.
Inside each of us, there’s a whole spectrum of bacteria that helps our bodies to process food and keep us healthy. Feed them the right food and you will feel fantastic. Feed them junk and they won’t be happy.
Wildlife Sydney’s exhibition, which begins on Friday 13 April and ends on Tuesday 17 April will feature animatronic bacteria (replicas of the real thing), designed by the same technitions who worked on JAWS and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Kids will have the chance to get up-close-and-personal with the friendly little guys in their guts and learn how to take care of them. Hint – feed them fibre to make them thrive.
Wildlife Sydney is based at Darling Harbour. Tickets cost $23.60 for children and $33.60 for adults
