Adventurous families who love to snorkel and dive will find plenty to discover in the waters of Zakynthos. The island is home to some of the oldest wildlife on Earth, the loggerhead sea turtles. Navagio Beach is one of the island’s most popular attractions, and why many would come here. It features a stunning stretch of white sands and pristine blue waters protected by a natural harbour and tall cliffs. In the middle of its sand is a decaying shipwreck, believed to be a ship of a tobacco smuggler that ended up crashing into the beach during a heavy storm.

There are two ways to get to Navagio Beach. You can take a boat or hike from the top of the cliffs. Seeing the shipwreck up close will require you to take a boat tour.
