Right next door to Movie World on the Gold Coast, Wet‘n’Wild is the perfect antidote to a hot Queensland day.

Mums and tots can retreat to the cool of Buccaneer Bay specifically designed for under-10s, while older kids can test their courage at the Extreme H20 Zone. There are plenty of fun-packed water themed rides, a gigantic wave pool and the more relaxing Calypso Beach where you can float gently along a slow moving river through sub-tropical gardens.

A great option is to stay after hours and catch a movie, bobbing around the pool on blow-up tube at the Dive‘n’Movies.

When: The park is open year round, and pools and slides are heated between May and August.

Who: It is strongly recommended that children under the age of 14 be accompanied by an adult.

Price: A one day admission is $54.99 per adult, and $34.99 per child. If your family is a repeat offender a better deal is the annual pass – $99.99 per person.
