It's on again! Every day of the school holidays you'll find Sydney Olympic Park abuzz with great kids activities as part of the fantastic Kids in the Park program and the official home of Sydney’s BIGGEST school holiday program just got EVEN BIGGER… with 12 NEW activities to get kids of all ages and interests off the couch and into stimulating school holiday fun this winter!
With a total of more than 50 activities – including heaps of FREE and good-value options at less than $20 – Kids in the Park July 2013 will be on across Sydney Olympic Park from 29 June – 14 July.
Hoyts at Sydney's Moore Park Entertainment Quarter is super excited for the release of Monsters University and Despicable Me 2 these school holidays and, to celebrate, they've invited a very special, life-sized, loveable Minion to visit! Why not bring the kids along to say hello and take a snap? While you’re there, let them get creative with the Monsters University colouring competition, which will be running throughout the holidays in the Hoyts foyer.

Running from Saturday 29 June to Sunday 14 July (9.00am – 9.00pm), the new and improved Snow Time in the Garden is on again these School Holidays at Hunter Valley Gardens. Sydney Aquarium celebrates its 25th Birthday with a display commemorating the milestone. There's a brand new interactive exhibit at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. WILD Discovery Zone is opening in time for the school holidays and is a fully interactive area that brings history to life and allows kids to go WILD! The WILD Discovery Zone will house a range of peculiar animal artefacts for kids to learn about and touch, and will also play host to interactive live animal visits that will give kids a chance to learn about some of Australia’s most intriguing animals.

Kids will love the chance to be search and rescue workers for the day at the Rescue exhibit at Darling Harbour's Australian National Maritime Museum. They can take the controls of a simulated helicopter and jet skis, to rescue those stuck at sea and learn what its like to escape from a smoke filled room. This wonderful interactive exhibit is both educational and loads of fun!! Recommended for kids aged 5 - 12 years.
There's also Indian Marketplace performances, Cabinet of Curiosities Touch Trolley, Kids on Deck: Teacups, trunks and traders, and a Pirate Family Cruise! Kids 8-14 will love taking part in creating their own Bollywood rock music video and the City to Sea photography workshops.

A troupe of shadow puppets has chosen to call the Darling Harbour Chinese Garden of Friendship home, but they need your help to bring them to life! For children aged 5 to 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Free with garden entry ($6 adult/$3 child) the activity takes between 30 and 45 minutes.

Zoo Adventures is a school holiday program for students attending primary school, aged from 5-12 years, which is run by qualified staff. Children experience the sights and sounds of the zoo; join in with art/craft and other activities with an animal theme!
