Little brickies express their creativity
Young aspiring master builders have their work cut out for them at Brick Kids, The Workshops Rail Museum’s winter school holiday event, with LEGO bricks and more family fun from 27 June to 12 July.
Families can get hands on with many thousands of LEGO pieces and create masterpieces and school holiday smiles!
Smaller fans can invent with bigger blocks in the Under 3s area with plenty of LEGO DUPLO to share.
Heroes, Villains and Spies: Screen Acting
Get ready for three days of outrageously fun on-screen antics from 29 June – 1 July as you act out scenes from famous hero, villain and spy adventures. Stop moving trains, intercept international secrets and save the world – all from the safety of the rehearsal room! This is aimed at kids from grades 3-6, they can develop skills in acting and characterisation as they rehearse and perform scenes to camera, then present a live performance and screening of the finished scenes at the end of the course for family and friends.

Little Artists at Play is a creative play workshop series for children aged 0–5 years. Bring your kids along to take part in multi-art experiences led by internationally acclaimed artists from Imaginary Theatre.
Each week the host-artist will collaborate with the group on unique and engaging activities. From theatre and visual art to dance, music and digital media, there will be something to inspire everyone!

Shadow puppets at Ipswich Art Gallery
Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones is a fun-filled hilarious, shadow-puppet show that’s full of surprises!
Flying chickens, brain transplants and sneaky ninjas! Watch as household junk is transformed into surreal shadow puppets and Bunk Puppets transforms junk into hilarious live cartoons. A feast for the imagination! Come play in the dark.

School holiday fun at SEA LIFE Mooloolaba
There’s loads of fun activities on offer at SEA LIFE Mooloolaba these school holidays!
Aside from the usual jam-packed activity schedule, the winter school holidays will feature two special programs.
‘Sleep Under the Sea’ is an overnight sleepover in the aquarium, which allows visitors to observe the resident creatures and their nightly shenanigans, enjoying a twilight tour and a behind-the-scenes tour.
The ‘Ocean Ranger’ program offers full or half-day experiences giving kids the exclusive opportunity to feed, touch and meet some of the amazing SEA LIFE marine animals.

Pirates have landed at Aussie World for the school holidays! Come and have some FUN with Captain Black and his pesky crew as they try to escape the iron fist of the Royal Guards! Captain Black’s misguided crew have crash landed their bounty named Pirate’s Revenge into Aussie World and are on the run with chest full of the King’s finest jewels.

It’s a Jurassic dinosaur hunt at Australia Zoo!
Australia Zoo is going DINOSAUR CRAZY for the June/July school holidays, with an awesome Jurassic-themed treasure hunt and special exhibits!
From June 27 to July 12, guests will be taken on an educational journey back to the Jurassic era. Don’t know your Deinosuchus from your Australovenator? Don’t worry – we’ve got it covered!
