Have a whale of a time at the SA Museum!


It’s a giant party when the SeaStar Rock team hit the stage! Kids will sing, dance and play games with the SeaStar Rockers as they help navigate sustainability of our oceans. Cha cha with Chino Crabclaw, tap dance with Terrance Turtle, and ride the waves with Surfing Snapping Starfish as he saves the seas from plastic bag monsters.

Glenelg Winter wonderland

Moseley Square in Glenelg will once again be transformed into a ‘Winter Wonderland’ this July, with an ice rink ready for some serious and fun ice-skating!

From Saturday 2 July to Sunday 31 July, you can skate – rain, hail or snow … morning, noon or night – on a massive, undercover, 450m2 ice rink right on the Glenelg beachfront!

The Kids Camera Action! School Holiday Workshop program is back this winter! This series of  interactive workshops is ideal for children interested in filmmaking and programs on offer include iPad film making and more! A team of working film and television professionals leads the fun and engaging workshops.

Fun at the MegaAdventure Aerial Park


Australia’s first aerial adventure park will  dazzle thrill seekers of all ages in Adelaide! The MegaAdventure Aerial Park is at West Beach in the Adelaide Shores precinct.

Imagine playing tennis in the sky, rowing a boat 20m off the ground or riding the esky (literally!) to get to the sky-high picnic table… And, if you’re game – you can jump from the very top to the very bottom on the ParaJump!

Every school holidays, there are engaging workshops in the CSIRO Lab to keep holiday boredom at bay.

Scitech holiday activities cater for children aged 4 to 16 years old, with a variety of workshops on offer to ensure there’s something for everyone, like coding, dinosaur adaptations, aviation engineers and more. But hurry – places fill fast!


Fun and games at AGWA


The Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA) hosts a program of interactive and educational art experiences for children of all ages and their great school holiday art workshops are on again, from Mon 11, Wed 13, Thurs 14 & Fri 15 July from 11am-4pm.

Try your hand at the ancient art of basket weaving and contribute to a large raffia basket that will take shape over the second week of the school holidays, in celebration of NAIDOC week and the opening of the Gallery’s new Indigenous objects display, Gifts to the Fallen.
